- Safeguarding & Reintegration: Maintain exemplary safeguarding standards while collaborating with families and multi-agency teams to support student transition pathways.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
- Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
- Subject Knowledge: Demonstrated ability or strong aptitude to teach Maths at a KS3/KS4 or Functional Skills level.
- Core Competencies: Strong emotional intelligence, reflective practice, and the ability to direct classroom TAs effectively.
- Mobility: A valid, full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to the nature of the provision's community-focused operations).
Note: Prior experience in a designated SEN or Alternative Provision setting is advantageous but not mandatory. A proactive, adaptable mindset is highly valued.
