Science Teacher (QTS/ECT) – Flexible Secondary Supply Roles
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, bringing subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to life.
- Provide expert instruction, focusing on core curriculum mastery, data analysis, and scientific inquiry.
- Support examination cohorts with targeted preparation for GCSE and A-Level success.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and disciplined laboratory environment, ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly observed.
- Adapt teaching methods to support students with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL, to ensure accessibility for all.
Qualifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; ECTs are highly encouraged to apply.
- Possess a degree in a Science-related field with a comprehensive understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
- Possess an enhanced DBS on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one, with a firm commitment to safeguarding.
