Every child deserves a champion. At Randstad, we are seeking experienced SEND Support professionals to work 1:1 with children in care who have complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Many of these children are currently outside of mainstream education, and your role will be to provide the stability, care, and tailored learning support they need to thrive.

What You'll Do:

  • Support children with a range of needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, Global Development Delay).
  • Break down barriers to learning using creative, sensory, and practical methods.
  • Provide a stable, predictable, and nurturing routine for the child.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the child's holistic needs are met.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
  • Qualifications such as Level 3 TA, Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach are highly desirable (but experience is key!).
  • A deep understanding of the triggers and challenges faced by children with complex needs.
  • Strong boundaries, immense patience, and a warm heart.
