Key Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
- Curriculum Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the UK National Curriculum for RE, including GCSE specifications.
- Eligibility to Work: Valid legal entitlement to work full-time in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging RE lessons to students across various Key Stages.
- Progress Tracking: Regularly mark work, provide constructive feedback, and track individual student academic progress.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the creation, review, and enhancement of scheme-of-work resources within the department.
- Exam Preparation: Adequately prepare upper-school students for external examinations and GCSE assessments.
- Pastoral Support: Fulfill the duties of a Form Tutor, supporting student's daily pastoral, moral, and emotional well-being.
- Safe Space Creation: Facilitate balanced discussions on sensitive cultural, moral, social, and spiritual topics.
- Parental Engagement: Attend parent's evenings, open events, and write progress reports to keep families informed.
- Professional Development: Actively participate in staff meetings, departmental briefings, and continuous professional development (CPD) sessions.
- Policy Compliance: Consistently implement and enforce the school's behaviour, safeguarding, and uniform policies.
- Cross-Curricular Support: Assist where necessary with wider school initiatives, including assemblies, charity events, or reflective school spaces.
