Inspire, Support and Transform Learning

Are you a compassionate, creative, and committed Maths Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference every day? We are seeking an exceptional educator to join a dedicated team providing truly personalised, holistic learning experiences for children and young people aged 7 to 19. This role is ideal for someone passionate about multi-sensory teaching and dedicated to re-engaging young people who may struggle in mainstream settings or have been 'lost to learning.'

About the Role

In this role, you will work with learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, delivering an engaging, flexible curriculum across various learning hubs. You will collaborate closely with lead teachers to design innovative learning experiences tailored to each child's individual needs, interests, and goals. Your teaching will focus on building confidence, improving engagement, and helping learners progress academically, socially, and emotionally - always keeping safeguarding and wellbeing at the heart of what you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalised Learning: Plan, deliver, and review tailored learning programmes, lesson plans, and schemes of work.
  • Creative Engagement: Use diverse, multi-sensory approaches to maximise engagement and meet complex, diverse needs.
  • Advocacy: Champion young people, involving them directly in decisions about their learning journeys.
  • Assessment & Tracking: Support management with learner profiles, SEN documentation, progress tracking, and EHCP/transition reporting.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute actively to subject-specific curriculum development and improvement plans.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
  • Subject Expertise: Proven experience teaching Mathematics.
  • SEN Passion: Experience in SEN teaching is highly preferred, alongside a deep commitment to learner-centred practice.
  • Flexibility & Resilience: A reflective practitioner who thrives in a dynamic, creative environment.
  • Mobility: A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance are essential, as you will need to travel between local sites and occasionally transport young people.

Why Join Us?

You will join a supportive, forward-thinking team that values creativity, collaboration, and the absolute belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive. This is an opportunity to directly shape the lives of young people who need a teacher who truly sees, understands, and champions their potential.
