Reconstruct Confidence. Re-engage Minds. Teach Maths Differently.

Are you an experienced Mathematics teacher tired of the rigid "exam factory" mainstream environment? Do you want to return to why you started teaching in the first place-making a profound, tangible difference in a young person's life? We work with children and young people aged 7 to 19, providing creative, relationship-driven education solutions for those who may be "lost to learning" or "hard to place." We create personalised educational pathways that extend beyond the school gate, and we are looking for a skilled, compassionate Maths Teacher to join our team.

The Role: Impactful, Personalised Teaching

In this role, you won't be managing a department, but you will have the autonomy to innovate. You will deliver high-quality, creative maths lessons designed to dismantle "maths anxiety" and rebuild student confidence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalised Delivery: Teach mathematics across a variety of settings, including one-to-one sessions, small group work, and larger vocational settings.
  • Curriculum Adaptation: Tailor and differentiate the Maths curriculum (covering Functional Skills through to GCSE) to meet the unique needs and interests of individual learners.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with regional Learning Managers and school leaders to track progress, shape targeted interventions, and ensure safeguarding and learner information processes are consistently upheld.
  • Professional Growth: Benefit from bespoke support from our Heads of Quality of Education and network with other educational practitioners across the organisation to share best practices.

Skills and Experience Required

We are looking for an established practitioner who understands that building a strong relationship with a learner is the first step toward academic success. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, with a strong track record of delivering engaging Maths lessons.

SEN Experience Preferred: A background in SEN or Alternative Provision is highly valued, particularly experience in re‑engaging reluctant or anxious learners.

Mobility: A valid driving license, access to a vehicle, and business insurance are essential, as you will need to travel between sites within the locality to support and engage with our young people.

Why Join Us? For an experienced teacher, this role offers a breath of fresh air. You will trade massive class sizes and relentless paperwork for the opportunity to truly focus on the individual learner. You will join a supportive, collaborative community that values your experience and gives you the trust and freedom to teach creatively.
