We are seeking Qualified Maths Teachers (QTS/ECTs) to provide specialist cover across a variety of secondary schools. Your Role as a Mathematics Lead: As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you are responsible for maintaining academic rigour and building student confidence in a vital core subject.
Expert Curriculum Delivery: Confidently deliver lessons on everything from algebra and geometry to statistics and probability, ensuring students remain engaged and challenged.
Exam Technique Focus: Support Year 11 students with targeted revision and exam strategies to help them achieve their target grades in their GCSEs.
Classroom Authority: Maintain a focused, productive learning environment through a professional presence and a clear passion for the subject.
Adaptive Support: Quickly identify and address misconceptions, providing differentiated support for students with SEND or those aiming for Grade 9.
Essential Requirements: We are looking for dedicated Maths specialists who can hit the ground running. You are an ideal fit if you:
- Hold QTS: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are highly encouraged to apply).
- Are a Maths Specialist: You have a degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a deep understanding of the current GCSE curriculum (A-Level experience is a plus).
- Are Engaging & Resilient: You can make Maths relevant and interesting to a diverse range of students, maintaining firm but fair boundaries.
- Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding.
