We are seeking a detail‐oriented and skilled HR Administrator to join the school to support the department's success. The role involves providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the school's human resources function, including employee records management and other HR‐related activities.

This is a full‐time role; you will be expected to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Managing employee records and HR databases
  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and processing applications
  • Coordinating onboarding processes for new staff members
  • Administering payroll and benefits programmes
  • Handling HR‐related inquiries and providing support to staff
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and school policies
  • Assisting in organising HR events and training sessions
  • Supporting the HR team with various administrative tasks and projects

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a similar role or within an educational setting
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
  • Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to complete a new DBS
  • Relevant professional experience with 2 recent professional references
