They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager committed to providing a highly effective and efficient administrative function to their stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to broaden their experience across a range of finance areas.

The position requires Full time availability, 08:30am-16:30pm, Monday-Friday.

  • To maintain systems to facilitate effective financial control within the school
  • Maintain the school's financial and accountancy systems
  • Liaise with the school's payroll provider regarding the correct payment of staff salaries, including the administration of claims for travel and overtime
  • Ensure that the school obtains best possible value for money from suppliers and contractors
  • Manage school fund account, ensuring all income is accurately accounted for and receipts given for cash

Experience of finance and administration in a similar school sector environment.

A sound knowledge of financial management and accounting procedures.

Competence in standard office software (Word, Outlook and Excel) essential.

Enhanced DBS on the update service.
