School Office Manager in Camberwell with a competitive pay of £31,924 pro rata salary. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Randstad is working with a school in South East London looking to appoint an Office Manager. The School Office Manager will contribute to the development of a strong, effective school with an emphasis on promoting a culture of educational excellence, within a caring environment that extends beyond the school into the wider community.

  • Support with school application and DBS
  • Onsite car parking and transport links

  • Line manage and be responsible for the effective management and deployment of the Office Administrator
  • Help maintain the school's HR systems in liaison with the HR Manager
  • Carry out all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Trust's policies and procedures
  • Participate in training, learning activities, and performance development as required
  • Co-ordinate the content for school publications, including newsletters, reports, and questionnaires
  • Be responsible for the management of admissions in the school
  • Manage and maintain manual and computerised record/information system (SIMS)
  • Sort and distribute school emails and letters promptly

Experience in a school environment is essential for the position, along with experience of local authority procedures, school staff, and computerised databases. Candidates should be efficient, well-organised, flexible, and an excellent team member. A DBS on an update service is a must.
