This is a full-time role starting ASAP and you will be expected to work from 8.00am-4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Some of your main responsibilities:
- Maintain good communications and working relationships with parents, contacting them as required promptly and efficiently
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a timely and efficient manner, regularly checking the answer phone for messages whilst on reception and deal with accordingly
- Respond helpfully and sensitively to pupils and their parents as required
- Undertake general administrative duties in order to provide an efficient, effective and professional administration service to the school ensuring customer care is maintained to a high standard
- Ensure that the main entrance and office areas are kept tidy, notices and parent forms are up to date in order to provide a clean and welcoming environment
- Deal with face-to-face enquiries greeting, registering and assisting visitors in a welcoming manner, always ensuring that the ethos, values and policies of the school are promoted and that safeguarding requirements are considered when allowing access to the school for whatever reason
Some of your requirements to earn this role:
- Relevant experience working in a school office, preferably within an educational setting
- Eligibility to work in the UK is ESSENTIAL (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- DBS on an update service is a must
- 2 recent relevant references
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity in handling student and school-related information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
