We are looking for motivated and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools in the south of the city. These roles are perfect for individuals who want to work in high-achieving environments where student aspiration and academic growth are at the heart of everything. Start date: ASAP

Pay: Β£13.68 - Β£14.00 per hour.

South Liverpool Areas: Allerton, Aigburth, Woolton, Childwall, Gateacre, and Speke.

Postcodes Covered: L15, L16, L17, L18, L19, L24, and L25.

Roles type: Flexible options (Full-time, Part-time, day to day or Long-term cover).

Duties:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group support to help students master difficult subjects.
  • Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
  • Supervise students during practical lessons and experiments to ensure safety.
  • Keep a close eye on student progress and provide simple, encouraging feedback.
  • Prepare the classroom environment and resources before each lesson begins.
  • Act as a reliable mentor and positive role model for teenagers.
  • Support the school's pastoral team in ensuring student well being and safety.
