We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within secondary school environments. This is a chance to join schools with a strong community heart, helping students aged 11-16 overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.

Pay: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour.
Location: North Liverpool (Walton, Anfield, Everton, Fazakerley, Kirkdale, and Bootle).
Postcodes Covered: L4, L5, L6, L9, L10, L11, L20, and L21.
Roles type: Flexible options (Full-time, Part-time, day to day or Long-term cover).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 or small group support to help students master difficult subjects.
- Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task.
- Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
- Supervise students during practical lessons and experiments to ensure safety.
- Keep a close eye on student progress and provide simple, encouraging feedback.
- Prepare the classroom environment and resources before each lesson begins.
- Act as a reliable mentor and positive role model for teenagers.
- Support the school's pastoral team in ensuring student well-being and safety.
What You Need:
- Previous experience working with teenagers (coaching, mentoring, or youth work).
- A firm but fair approach with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to adapt quickly to different subject areas and classrooms.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
