Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering Mathematics lessons that translate abstract concepts into real-world, practical applications for SEN learners.
- Expertly adapting the National Curriculum using P-Scales and entry-level frameworks to meet students at their current point of need.
- Monitoring small-step progress and celebrating milestones that foster student confidence and independence.
- Partnering with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that educational targets align with the student's Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Providing a nurturing environment, including personal care support where necessary, to ensure all students feel secure and ready to learn.
Requirements:
- Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous success teaching Mathematics within a UK SEN school or alternative provision.
- Proficiency in differentiating for a wide range of needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SLD) and a strong grasp of inclusive classroom management.
- A patient, resilient, and collaborative professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
