Essential Requirements for Application
- Experience: A minimum of six months' paid experience working with Primary-aged children in a UK school setting, OR relevant volunteering experience and qualifications.
- Flexibility: Must be flexible and available for various types of work, including long-term, full-time, and day-to-day assignments.
- Compliance: Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory. Full eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher and pupils across different year groups. Your duties will include:
- Providing essential one-to-one and small group support for pupil learning.
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and general administration.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
