We offer day to day and long term roles. We are looking for motivated KS4 Teaching Assistants to support students in Years 10 and 11 as they work towards their GCSEs. This is a vital role helping young people achieve the grades they need for their future careers or college places.
Duties:
- Supporting students with GCSE coursework and revision across various subjects.
- Working 1-on-1 with students to help them understand complex exam topics.
- Acting as a reader or scribe for students during mock and official GCSE exams.
- Helping students manage their time and stay organised with their studies.
- Providing emotional support to students feeling stressed about their upcoming exams.
- Collaborating with teachers to track student progress and meet target grades.
- Encouraging students to stay motivated and focused during the final years of school.
What you need:
- A calm, patient approach and the ability to inspire older teenagers.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support GCSE-level content.
- A reliable and professional manner.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
