What You Need:

  • UK QTS/QTLS with a background or specialisation in English.
  • Experience teaching English Language & Literature at KS3 and KS4.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or ready to process one).

Duties:

  • Teach high-quality English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
  • Mark student work, provide constructive feedback, and track progress to ensure everyone hits their targets.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and focused learning environment using effective behaviour strategies.
  • Work closely with the rest of the English department to share resources and support the wider school community.
