Responsibilities as a Music Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Music lessons that cover a wide range of genres and technical skills.
- Create an inspiring and inclusive environment where students feel confident to perform and compose.
- Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learners, from budding soloists to those discovering music for the first time.
- Manage classroom instruments and digital music resources effectively to enhance learning.
- Foster strong relationships with students and staff to contribute to the school's cultural life.
- Organise and lead rehearsals or small-scale performances to showcase student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant Music Teaching experience.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Proven ability to play and teach at least one instrument (and/or vocals) to a high standard.
- Professional references covering your work history.
