The Impact You Will Make
- Targeted Progress: Delivering high-impact intervention sessions for students across Key Stages 3 and 4, focusing on closing the attainment gap.
- Mentorship: Acting as a positive role model, particularly for students who may face challenges with school engagement or attendance.
- SEND Support: Providing one-to-one assistance for students with complex needs, ensuring they feel included and capable in every lesson.
- Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to maintain a safe, disciplined, and encouraging classroom culture.
Candidate Requirements
- Level 3 Certified: You must hold a recognised Level 3 TA qualification or a relevant degree.
- Secondary Experience: Prior experience in a secondary school or working with teenagers is highly preferred.
- Commitment: A desire to work within the Clacton community and provide the consistency students need to thrive.
- Vetting: An Enhanced DBS check is required (we can assist with this if you are not on the Update Service).
- Skills: Excellent communication, a patient temperament, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced school days.
