Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? Do you have a passion for working with two-year-olds, fostering their early development in a nurturing environment? If so, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS TA to join a long-term position in a nursery setting in Blackburn. This role is an immediate start and will continue until Easter.
As an EYFS TA, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and supportive environment for young children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of resources and activities for the whole class, small group and 1:1 support.
- Providing feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to organise appropriate activities.
- Liaising with other professionals such as teachers, TAs, and specialist support staff.
- Working closely with other LSAs and support staff.
- Working with classes, small groups and with children on a one-to-one basis.
- Monitoring and tracking the development of the pupil in question and supporting their needs.
