Job Role

  • Act as the primary key holder, managing the daily unlocking and securing of the school gates and buildings.
  • Oversee the cleaning team's daily rotas and performance to ensure a hygienic learning environment.
  • Conduct morning site perimeters to identify and mitigate any potential hazards before pupils arrive.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Headteacher regarding emergency repairs or facilities concerns.
  • Manage the school's waste management strategy and recycling initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous UK school experience with a strong understanding of the "Keeping Children Safe in Education" (KCSiE) framework.
  • Possess a Level 2 or 3 trade qualification (Plumbing, Joinery, or Electrical).
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate and a clean UK driving license.
  • Proven ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
