Job Role

  • Provide strategic leadership for the site team, ensuring the campus is maintained to an "Ofsted-ready" standard at all times.
  • Work closely with the School Business Manager (SBM) to manage the facilities budget and achieve "Best Value."
  • Oversee third-party lettings, ensuring school halls and sports fields are safely managed for community use.
  • Advise the Board of Governors on long-term capital projects and help prepare CIF (Condition Improvement Fund) bids.
  • Manage the school's energy-saving initiatives, such as LED lighting upgrades and heating efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Previous UK experience in school leadership or public sector site management.
  • Proven background in managing budgets and leading small teams (Site Assistants/Caretakers).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with parents, teachers, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management for school-wide renovations.
