Randstad Education is looking for Teachers who want to be more than just educators. We need specialists ready to bridge the attainment gap and drive social mobility, turning classroom learning into real-world opportunity for the next generation.

This is a full-time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

  • Plan and teach high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and (if applicable) 5.
  • Use data to monitor student achievement and implement interventions where gaps are identified.
  • Maintain a focused, respectful classroom culture using the school's behaviour framework.
  • Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of a specific student group.
  • The ability to adapt complex material for a wide range of abilities, including SEN and EAL students.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools like Google Classroom, MS Teams, and interactive whiteboards to enhance learning.
  • Competence in using school management systems (e.g., SIMS or Bromcom) to track and report on student data.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills to engage and command a room of young people.
  • The mental agility to handle the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of a secondary school.
  • The flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the classroom and the wider school community.
  • A desire for continuous improvement and an openness to pedagogical feedback and coaching.

All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
