Are you a passionate educator ready to empower young people with complex needs? We are urgently hiring an experienced SEND Teacher to deliver high-quality, highly differentiated teaching to pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
In this high-priority role, you will foster student independence, lead a subject area, and help create a safe, thriving learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Planning: Deliver tailored KS3/KS4 lesson plans up to GCSE level.
Classroom Leadership: Manage complex dynamics calmly and lead a designated subject area.
Multidisciplinary Support: Collaborate on EHC plans, PEPs, and LAC targets while maintaining strong communication with families and external agencies.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience: QTS (or equivalent with PGCE) plus proven experience teaching ASC/SEND pupils.
Expertise: Deep understanding of autism, safeguarding procedures, and teaching up to GCSE level.
Logistics & Vetting: Valid driver's license, reliable transport access, Enhanced DBS check, and UK right to work (no sponsorship available).
