This specialist setting provides a nurturing and supportive environment for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With small class sizes, a personalised approach to learning and a strong focus on wellbeing, staff work together to help young people build confidence, resilience and positive outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team, gain valuable experience in SEND and SEMH education, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Following a successful 12-week placement, you will transfer directly onto the school's permanent staff team.

Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Location: Lancing

Salary: £93‑£100 per day (12-week temporary placement) | £22,000‑£23,500 per annum (permanent)

Hours: Monday‑Friday, 08:15am‑3:30pm

About the Role:

  • GCSE Maths & English (required)
