Teaching Assistants Wanted in Prescot! We are looking for bright, proactive, and compassionate individuals to join our secondary schools as Teaching Assistants in the welcoming Prescot area. Hourly Pay: £13.68 to £14.00 per hour

Main Duties:

  • Help the main teacher in the delivery of daily lessons, manage classroom activities and transitions.
  • Support small groups of students with foundational skills like reading, writing, and numeracy.
  • Assist in getting the classroom ready, such as preparing materials or creating stimulating displays.
  • Listen to children read and help them practise key skills for confidence building.
  • Support positive behaviour management and encourage good conduct in the classroom.
  • Supervise students during non-class times, such as breaks, lunch, or organised school activities.
  • Clearly communicate any significant observations regarding student well-being or learning gaps to the class teacher.
