Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. A dedicated and vibrant school, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. We cater for pupils aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of educational needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties (including profound and multiple needs), and Autism.

Responsibilities

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of a differentiated and engaging curriculum.
  • Helping to create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils with personal care and mobility (where required).
  • Contributing to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.

We are looking for this role to commence immediately following the Easter half-term break.

Pay and Hours

  • Pay: 95 - 105 per day (dependent on experience).
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
