Key Responsibilities

Deliver High-Impact Lessons: As a dynamic Maths Teacher, you will plan and teach structured, engaging mathematics sessions across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) aligned with the UK National Curriculum.

Full Curriculum Ownership: Take full responsibility for class preparation, ongoing student assessment, and constructive marking to accelerate student progress.

Differentiated Instruction: Adapt your teaching methods to stretch high achievers while providing structured support to pupils building foundational numeracy skills.

Positive Environment: Maintain a focused, structured classroom atmosphere where students feel safe making mistakes and learning from them.

Departmental Contribution: Work alongside departmental colleagues to refine learning resources, share best practices, and support extra-curricular revision sessions.
Candidate Profile
We are searching for an approachable, skilled Maths Teacher with a strong mathematical background and excellent classroom leadership.

Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.

Proven track record of working as a Maths Teacher within a UK secondary school setting.

Clear communication skills and the ability to explain abstract concepts clearly and concisely.

Effective classroom management strategies grounded in positive encouragement and clear expectations.

Holds an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one through Randstad).
