Key Responsibilities:- Experience within an education setting
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
- Some experience of working with SEMH learners with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a school environment
- Full clean driving licence
- Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
- Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
- Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs
- GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
