We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team in Kidderminster, providing classroom support, working with pupils with special educational needs, and assisting with administrative responsibilities. If youβre a team player with a can-do attitude, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential.
- Experience within an education setting.
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Some experience of working with SEMH learners with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a school environment.
- Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual.
- Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable.
- Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs.
- Full clean driving licence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A patient, caring and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable.
