Pay: £120 - £160 per day (Paid to scale for roles involving planning)

Contract: Term Time Only

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the KS1 curriculum (Year 1 and Year 2).

  • Foster a love of learning while maintaining a well‑organised and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

  • Communicate professionally with parents, carers, and staff members.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a primary setting. To be successful, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential.

  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.

  • Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to the curriculum.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • The ability to adapt quickly to new school environments and ethos.
