As a vital member of the team, you\βll work closely with the dedicated staff to shape the futures of adults with ASD and other disabilities. Your role will encompass designing and implementing tailored learning programs, offering unwavering support, and nurturing a sense of independence and inclusion. Your passion and experience in the SEN/Care field will be the driving force behind each positive step.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement tailored learning programs for adults with ASD and other disabilities
- Provide unwavering support to learners to foster independence and inclusion
- Collaborate with staff to shape futures and ensure person-centred care
Qualifications & Qualities
- Experience of working in community based services or with young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Comfortable working with challenging behaviour
- A positive and resilient attitude; ability to build relationships with learners, parents and staff
- Minimum Grade C or equivalent in English Language & Maths is desirable
- Care certificate is desirable
- Own means of transport ideally
