- Position: Learning Support Worker
- Full Time and Part Time options available
- Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Location: Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh, Surrey
- Salary: £25,000 per annum

Responsibilities
- Supporting autistic adults on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Planning and delivering engaging learning activities and life skills sessions
- Supporting communication, independence and social development
- Providing behaviourally based support to reduce barriers to learning
- Supporting learners with personal and intimate care where required
- Assisting learners to access social, leisure and employment opportunities within the community
- Encouraging learner choice, confidence and decision-making
- Monitoring and recording learner progress and adapting support strategies where needed
- Administering medication once trained and following company procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
- Maintaining a calm, safe and positive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting adults or young people with disabilities (professional, personal or voluntary)
- Comfortable supporting individuals with challenging behaviour
- Comfortable providing personal/intimate care where required
- Calm and resilient approach under pressure
- Positive, patient and caring attitude
- Passion for supporting autistic individuals to develop life skills and independence
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality
- GCSE English & Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent desirable
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Eligibility to work in the UK
