Randstad Education is seeking dedicated Science Teachers with specialism in Chemistry and Physics to join forward-thinking departments. This is a full-time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday in line with school hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Use formative assessment data, such as questioning and exit tickets, to raise student achievement.
  • Scaffold complex scientific resources in real-time to support SEND and EAL learners.
  • Maintain a safe and organised laboratory environment following strict safeguarding policies.
  • Act as a force for social change by closing the educational gap through high-quality STEM instruction.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics with the ability to simplify complex theories.
  • Proven ability to use positive, person-centred interventions to manage classroom dynamics.
  • Skills to reinvent curriculum materials and adapt resources for diverse student needs.
  • Ability to work effectively with Teaching Assistants and mentor upcoming teaching talent.
  • Experience in self-evaluating teaching quality through peer observation and performance tracking.
