Randstad Student Support is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist Mentor to provide individualized support to neurodiverse learners within a higher education setting. This role is vital in ensuring student well-being and success.
Position description / Job description
- Develop and implement personalized support plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide high-quality mental health guidance and counselling services.
- Collaborate effectively with university support staff, including academic advisers and disability services.
- Guide and support students in navigating academic challenges and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the overall improvement of support services.
- Stay abreast of current best practices and emerging trends in mental health support for neurodiverse individuals.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student well-being.
Expectations / Requirements
- You hold relevant professional body registration (BACP, BPS, HCPC, etc.).
