Our client is a two form entry primary academy located in the centre of Blackpool (FY1) with accessible localpublic transport routes and public parking options. They are a new build school with a large amount of internalspace for learning and activities. This school has an inclusive approach with mixed ability classes and a 40%SEN pupil count. They are on the lookout for a confident TA with prior SEN or care experience who has the abilityto build and develop a productive relationship with a pupil, providing support with their attainment, personal andemotional development. While you will be assigned to work with a pupil you will also have the chance to swap outwith other TA’s to encourage the child’s independence and prevent a velcro learning relationship. They are currently seeking a general classroom TA for Y6/ Y3 and Y1 to support duties such as resourceprinting, preparation of activities, tidying, setting up, small group support, 1:1 support and record keeping.Fluency with IPAD’S and strong IT skills will be needed.
