Randstad Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic Secondary Science Teachers (QTS essential) to join partner secondary schools across Torbay and the surrounding South Devon area. Key Responsibilities- Science Cover Teaching: Deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- General Cover Teacher Duties: Provide high‑quality cover across a range of secondary subjects as required by schools.
- Classroom & Behaviour Management: Maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment in line with school policies.
- Work-Life Balance: Leave at 3:30 pm with zero evening planning or marking for day‑to‑day supply assignments.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) status is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and secondary curriculum knowledge.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
