This school is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join the team. In this role you will be offered the opportunity to train and progress in a supportive working environment. Your role will entail supporting children on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis. You will support the "whole child" by ensuring their well-being, building confidence, developing life skills and encouraging socialisation. This is a full-time permanent role, term-time only. Applicants will be expected to work Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 pm.

Requirements

  • Relevant SEN experience (desirable)
  • Previous experience working or volunteering with children or young adults (desirable)
  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and learning activities
  • Communicating with teachers about pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
