We are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our successful and growing Education division, based in our vibrant Brighton branch. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in supplying teachers, support staff, and specialists to schools across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- 360-Degree Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from client acquisition and candidate sourcing to interview preparation, offer negotiation, and post-placement support.
- Business Development: Proactively generate new business opportunities by building strong, lasting relationships with schools and educational institutions across the designated territory.
- Candidate Management: Source, screen, interview, and onboard high-quality education professionals, ensuring compliance with all safeguarding and quality standards.
- Market Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the local education market trends, pay rates, and competitor activities to provide expert advice to both clients and candidates.
- Target Achievement: Work towards and exceed both financial and activity-based targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in recruitment (any sector) or a sales/account management role is highly desirable. Experience within the education sector is a bonus.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Drive & Attitude: A proactive, resilient, and highly self-motivated approach with a desire to succeed in a target-driven environment.
- Location Access: Essential: Must hold a full, valid UK driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle, as travel to client schools will be required.
- Office Location: Must be able to reliably commute to and work from our Woodingdean office in Brighton.
