We are looking for a dedicated Learning and Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant to join our specialist team. If you want a hands‑on role where you can help young people with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD thrive in a supportive, structured environment, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
The Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 16:30
- Enjoy every school holiday off with term time only working
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting students in small, focused class settings with both learning and pastoral care
- Using Trauma‑Informed Practice and tailored activities to help students build independence
- Working alongside teachers on EHCP and IEP plans while tracking student progress
- Fostering a safe, positive environment using restorative behaviour frameworks
What You Need
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/5 or Level 2 equivalent
- Proven experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs
- 3 to 6 months of experience in an educational setting working with challenging behaviours
- A proactive, dedicated attitude and a genuine commitment to student welfare
- Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
- Willingness to complete a full enhanced DBS check
