How to prepare for a job interview at Randstad Education
β¨Know Your Stuff
Before the interview, brush up on your teaching methods and strategies. Be ready to discuss how you would adapt lessons for different learning needs and how you manage classroom behaviour. This shows that you're not just a teacher, but a thoughtful educator.
β¨Show Your Passion
Let your enthusiasm for teaching shine through! Share specific examples of how you've inspired students in the past or how you plan to engage them in the future. A genuine passion for education can set you apart from other candidates.
β¨Be Ready for Scenarios
Prepare for situational questions where you might need to think on your feet. For instance, how would you handle a lesson with no pre-set work? Think about your resourcefulness and adaptability, as these are key traits for a supply teacher.
β¨Ask Thoughtful Questions
At the end of the interview, have a few questions ready about the school culture or support systems in place for supply teachers. This shows that you're genuinely interested in the role and want to ensure it's a good fit for both you and the school.
