Randstad is delighted to be partnering with a high-achieving and prestigious Academy in East London to recruit an experienced level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner. This is a maternity cover role starting in May, perfect for a dedicated professional looking for a stable, term-time position within a supportive and modern educational setting.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Early Years team, taking key person responsibility for a group of nursery children. You will be expected to:
- Ensure the care, learning, and development needs of your group are met with excellence.
- Support the wider nursery classroom, helping to maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Carry out essential nursery duties, including high-quality observations, planning support, and routine care tasks.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and fellow practitioners to deliver a premium EYFS provision.
Essential Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Experience: Extensive experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting is essential.
- Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Commitment: You must be able to commit to the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm.
