Roles & Responsibilities- Targeted Interventions: Delivering high-impact, small-group sessions in synthetic phonics and early number fluency to close attainment gaps.
- Pastoral Mentoring: Acting as a key point of contact for pupils requiring emotional regulation support, utilising positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.
- Inclusion Support: Working closely with the SENCo to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Classroom Preparation: Creating and organising bespoke sensory and visual resources to support the daily curriculum.
- Assessment Assistance: Observing and recording pupil milestones, providing the Class Teacher with accurate feedback to inform future lesson planning.
- Safety & Safeguarding: Upholding the highest standards of child protection and playground safety during unstructured times.
- Relevant Qualification: Holding a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent degree-level experience).
