Location: R.E.A.L. Alternative Provision, Mansfield

Salary: £15.37 per hour / £27,066 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, Term Time (41 weeks/year)

This role is a fantastic fit for someone who prefers the workshop to the traditional classroom. You'll be working with young people who often find mainstream education challenging, helping them build practical skills and confidence through hands-on projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Delivery: Teach bricklaying, joinery, painting, and general construction skills.
  • Adaptive Learning: Tailor lessons for 1:1 sessions or small groups to meet specific student needs (SEND).
  • Documentation: Handle lesson planning, progress reporting, and student assessments.
  • Safety: Innovate and adapt the curriculum to spark interest in learners who may have previously disengaged from school.

Note: This is a Term Time Only position (41 weeks), which is ideal if you value having school holidays off while maintaining a permanent contract.
