Key Responsibilities- Deliver Engaging Computing Lessons: Plan and teach stimulating Computer Science and IT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
- Full Curriculum Ownership: Take full responsibility for class preparation, practical coding demonstrations, ongoing pupil assessment, and constructive marking to accelerate student progress.
- Hands-On Learning: Guide students safely and effectively through programming languages (such as Python), computer networks, data structures, and online safety practices.
- Positive Environment: Maintain a focused, supportive classroom dynamic where equipment is respected and pupils feel confident troubleshooting complex technical problems.
- Departmental Contribution: Work alongside departmental peers to update learning resources, refine schemes of work, and support extra-curricular coding or robotics clubs.
