Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and learning styles
- Responsible for delivering and contributing to the development of the Computing and IT curriculum for students aged 11-18
- Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of methods, providing regular feedback to both students and parents
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all pupils
- Support and potentially lead extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities for students
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the department and school
- Effective use and maintenance of the school\’s computing and IT resources
- Use student data to inform your teaching and identify areas for intervention and support
- Fulfill all safeguarding responsibilities and promote the well-being and safety of all students
