Maths Teachers Needed | Chester & Cheshire West
Are you a Maths specialist looking for a local role with great pay? We are recruiting Maths Teachers for secondary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas. Whether you want a city‑centre placement or a role in a rural village school, we have opportunities ready for you!
Daily Rate: £150 - £220 (Paid weekly).
Location: Chester and all surrounding areas (CH1 - CH4, CH65, CH66).
Duties:
- Deliver engaging and clear Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan and prepare lesson content that follows the national curriculum.
- Mark student work and provide feedback to support their progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Support the department with GCSE assessments and revision sessions.
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status.
- A University degree in Mathematics or a STEM subject.
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one).
