We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our team across Chelmsford. Your role will be essential in helping secondary students master core numerical skills and achieve their full academic potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons across secondary year groups
  • Creating a structured, positive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Assessing student work, tracking progress, and providing constructive feedback
  • Adapting teaching strategies to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Collaborating with the wider Maths department to maintain curriculum standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Specialism in Mathematics with relevant secondary teaching experience
  • Reference History: Minimum 2 years of continuous employment references (character reference required for any gaps exceeding 90 days in the last 2 years)
  • DBS: An enhanced child DBS on the Update Service (a full copy of the certificate must be provided)
  • Address History: Full 5-year address history
  • Training: Willingness to complete mandatory E-Learning modules prior to placement
  • Right to Work: Valid Right to Work in the UK (Essential - sponsorship is not available for this role)
