Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide crucial support and reassurance to students transitioning into university life and academic rigours.
- Motivate students and foster their academic drive.
- Assist students in understanding and adapting to university routines and structures.
- Champion the development of student independence, communication skills, and peer/staff interaction.
- Guide students in implementing effective strategies for workload management, organisation, and time management.
- Liaise with Randstad and the Disability Support Team to ensure comprehensive student support and well-being.
What You Bring:
- A Degree or equivalent qualification.
- A solid understanding of the Higher Education landscape.
- Insight into the barriers faced by disabled individuals in higher education.
- Demonstrable experience and a high level of skill working with disabled individuals.
- A proactive, independent work ethic.
- Keen attention to detail.
