I am currently working with a selection of Schools across Cambridge and surrounding areas that are looking to recruit Newly Qualified Teachers for September 2026 start! Roles will vary from ad-hoc day to day cover, to long term positions depending on the School's need.
For the right candidate, you may find the opportunity to secure long term work. We can look into support for your induction year and PPA time will be allocated by the school, should the School be happy to support you.
In terms of a working day, if you are covering for a Teacher's absence you will be required to work to a set plan and ensure the attainment of each child in their class teacher's absence. The work and planning will usually be set in advance and available for you to deliver on the day, you will be responsible for ensuring all children are participating in the class and motivated to learn. You will be required to complete the marking in full at the end of each day before returning the work to the reception.
It is important to highlight that cover work can also lead to consistent and long term job opportunities at School's. For the right candidate this will be an opportunity to showcase your ability which can often lead to schools requesting you personally for cover or considering you for their long term cover/vacancies.
Benefits include:
- A dedicated, professional and friendly specialist consultant.
- Commitment to your continuing professional development through free training including safeguarding.
- Competitive rates of pay paid weekly, fully compliant under the Agency Workers Regulations.
- Flexible hours and working patterns.
